How to use our Bitcoin ATM to buy cryptocurrencies
Tap on the screen and select the cryptocurrency that you would like to buy. After reading the warning and performing the phone confirmation, scan your bitcoin address that is in the form of a QR code. Afterwards, you can insert cash and press Buy after you are done. The cryptocurrency will be sent to the scanned address. For amounts over $900, a one-time verification with your ID is needed.
How to use our Bitcoin ATM to sell cryptocurrencies
Make sure you have located one of our two-way CoinFlip Bitcoin ATMs using our map. When you are at the Bitcoin ATM, press the “Sell” option and do a phone number verification. Then select the amount you want to sell. A ticket will come out with a cryptocurrency address in the form of a QR code. Send the exact amount of bitcoin to that address. Once it gets one confirmation on the blockchain, you can withdraw your cash. To do over $900, ID verification is required.
How much does our Bitcoin ATM charge?
The rate for BTC at our ATMs is 6.99% above the Tradeblock XBX index spot price for buys, and 3.99% below for sells. In some locations, our fees may be even lower due to fewer operational expenses. Our standard flat fee to cover the mining cost is $0.99, but in times of high demand, we may raise this fee in order to ensure timely processing of your transaction. For all altcoins, the base price is calculated using CoinMarketCap.
How long does a transaction with our Bitcoin ATM take?
Bitcoin transactions are broadcasted onto the blockchain automatically after you use the ATM. Once it is broadcasted, and depending on how long it takes for miners to verify transactions, confirmations on the blockchain usually take about 20 minutes. Sometimes there are delays where a transaction can end up taking longer than 20 minutes.
